Haiku

what is a Haiku?
A haiku, (or 俳句), is a Japanese poem that has 5 syllables on the first line, 7  syllables on the second line, and 5 syllables on the last line. Haiku are usually about nature. Here are some haiku:

Millipede
Heaps of little legs
Crawling all over the place
Friend of centipede

Moth
Hypnotized by lights
Navigating with the moon
Annoying flapping

Tree
Growing up and up
Trying to get the sunlight
Photosynthesis

Waterfall
Splashing down and down
Tumbling over the cliff face
Eroding the rock
