Tadpole facts 

A tadpole's 'nickname' is a polliwog. 

One of a tadpole's favourite foods tends to be boiled lettuce. 

Most species of tadpole have mouths like a suction cap to hold onto their food while feeding.

Frog facts 

There are 6348 known species of frogs & toads.

Frogs' tongues are attached to the front of their mouth so that they can push big insects down their throat with their tounge.

If the frog's tounge is not strong enough to push the prey down their throat, they use their eyeballs on the roof of their mouth to help push it down. This is why frogs often blink when they have eaten something.

The bones of a frog form a growth ring every year, just like a tree!
